Alastair McDonnell

Mr. McDonnell is a Partner and Head of European Portfolio Management in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on European real estate equity portfolio management. Mr. McDonnell serves on the Ares Real Estate Global Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2013, Mr. McDonnell was a Director at AREA Property Partners. Previously, Mr. McDonnell was a Senior Director at CBRE Global Investors, where he focused on European investments and portfolio management. Additionally, Mr. McDonnell was a Surveyor at CB Hillier Parker, where he focused on leasing brokerage. Mr. McDonnell holds an M.A., Cantab, from the University of Cambridge in Land Economy. Mr. McDonnell is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
